Admin, DON
•10 minTune notification thresholds
Per-user preferences set so the right people see the right alerts without noise.
Before you start
- Admin role
- Team members invited and approved
Steps
- 1
Open Settings → My notifications
Each user controls their own delivery (in-app and email) for five categories: morning huddle, high-risk resident, staffing gap, family update approval, and import failure.
- 2
Set quiet hours
Quiet hours suppress email outside the window; in-app still queues. Common: 9pm–6am.
- 3
Decide who owns each category at the org level
We recommend: DON for high-risk and family approvals; Operations for import failures; charge nurses for staffing gaps and morning huddle.
- 4
Confirm marketing consent stays off unless asked
Marketing email is opt-in only. AcuityRow never enables it during onboarding.
Common pitfalls
- • Turning off in-app alongside email means the user sees nothing — keep at least in-app on.
- • High-risk fanout respects role approval; pending users never receive PHI in notifications.
