Build a survey trail packet

Before you start

• Manager role or higher
• Reports access enabled

Steps

1. 1

   Open Reports → Survey Trail

   Pick the facility and date range. Default is the last 30 days.

   Filter by event type

   Choose any combination: accepted/dismissed/escalated signals, risk overrides, approved family updates, import jobs, role changes.

3. 3

   Review the rendered packet

   Each row shows event, resident (where applicable), reviewer, timestamp, and source context. Spot-check before exporting.

4. 4

   Export PDF or JSON

   PDF for surveyors and binders. JSON for your compliance archive or downstream tools.

Common pitfalls

• • Date ranges over 90 days can be slow — narrow the filter or export by month.
• • Exported packets include PHI; store per your retention policy.
